Third game, for the third Novice Mini Jam 2024! The theme was Backwards in Time.

I went with a top down game with a mechanic in which you can travel back to the life of a creature from the spot where it passed away. Traverse the forest to reach the puddle of unlimited time to gain your eternal life and be able to finish your gaming library.

I learned a lot about signals with this game. Defining the collision of the scenery and they overlapping is quite a chore I didn't expect.

Apologies if you see any overlapping sprites that make no much sense, specially with the pig. I didn't figure out properly the sprite sorting thing.
