Learning from unavoidable mistakes
Project for the second Novice Mini Jam 2024.
This time the theme was Failure & Overcome. I gave it a thought, but with my current skill and the limited time, I repeated a platform theme where the player and character don't know how to progress properly. After an unavoidable mistake, the character will suggest how the obstacle can be tackled.
I was happy to be able to implement different abilities for the char, and also being able to grant those abilities one by one.
I would have loved to give it a little bit of story or some cut scene, but by the time I could do something, it got to late. No problem, this is my second game ever and I'm happy with what I got.

Fun game, the first dash obstacle feels a bit tight though.
Definitely a good game with good promise if I manage to pass the 2nd obstacle.
I had a friend tell me that the running for him is not fast enough to pass the first obstacles, is happening to you too?
